Now that I am sure I will have a job next year, I have also started looking for a place of my own around Pasadena. At fist I thought I might have a few roommates, and that Billy would also be moving in with me. Turns out the roommate thing was not a fore sure, and Billy is not ready to move out because he's not sure where his life will take him after he graduates in June. This actually works out for my benefit, because it has always been a dream of mine to live on my own before moving in with a boy. I have NEVER looked for apartment or places to live before so I of course had NO IDEA what I was doing... I decided first to look on Craig's List, and the first place I found was a studio apartment in Sierra Madre. The rent is a great price, and all the utilities are included. I decided to go check it out, and I fell in love!
It is currently being remodeled, so I will show pictures of the interior once they are ready. I took some pictures, but it's hard to tell what things are since there is construction items everywhere, and things are out of place. However, it will all be new for me, which is a huge plus! It is a small semi-studio apartment, and I say "semi" because it is not a studio like I pictured it would be. The living room and bedroom are one area, but there is a separate bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, walk-in closest, and broom closet, and back exit. It is located in the beautiful Sierra Madre canyon, covered by lots of trees, pathways, and a stream nearby. The apartment and area are extremely pet friendly, so it would be a great place to bring Bellatrix! I am up against 2 other people, (that I know of), but I REALLY hope I get it. It is the perfect place for me! Wish me luck! I will keep you updated, and add more pictures ASAP!
